This kit utilizes a gearless angle drive (NOT included, links to this item below) so you can turn your pole 360 degrees sitting in one spot without moving your arm, just turn your wrist!

Part one of the kit installs onto your pole. Part two of the kit enables a piece of 1/2" PVC to be inserted as the handle to turn. You supply the 1/2" PVC so you can cut it whatever length you need. Add the optional Square Adapter piece to make turning easier since PVC is round and can be slippery. 

The optional Arrow Indicator piece is nice to have but not a must. You can align the opening part of the part one of the kit to your transducer direction. If you have my pole mount kit, you can align the clamp collar below to the transducer direction and use that as an indicator as well. 

This product is designed with a very tight tolerance for best fit. Please be sure to choose the size accordingly. If you have a different pole diameter not listed below, please contact me. If it's a widely used pole then I can design one for that pole specifically. 

  • 1.05" OD -- For 3/4" PVC pipe
  • 1-1/8" OD -- For poles such as Summit silver pole, carbon fiber pole, HDI's carbon fiber pole
  • 1-1/4" OD -- For Bare pole Wooster Sherlock SR054 Extension Paint Pole or Wooster GT. No rubber piece is needed as this product stops the inner tube from extending out. 

Below are the models of gearless angle drive I purchased and tested with this product. I can guarantee the fit on these two models. If you already own a different brand or style I can't guarantee the fit as I didn't test them. 

Cal-Van Tools 90 degree 3/8" Gearless Angle Drive
Cal-Van Tools 45 degree 1/4" Gearless Angle Drive Wrap one layer of duct tape or gorilla tape for a more secure hold. 1/4" drive version is 1mm thinner and it makes a difference. 
The 90 degree 1/4" does NOT have enough clearance to rotate.
